The thing is, some guys just don’t get it at all… and my aijou isn’t an exemption for this.

This pass few weeks, a classmate of mine is kinda… let’s say, he’s being very nice to me lately. So the name’s Jeff and he’s from Davao. Since we sit to same classes, we often had lil’ chit-chat and also go home together but never until to our house. (Hey, that’s my aijou’s job!)

Thus, I see no harm for being friends with Jeff. And besides, he’s totally aware of the fact that I’m taken. So there’s nothing to worry about… unless for some people.

• Isiah: best buddy

I had fight with him lately and I’m pissed off. He told me that I’ve done something wrong, but I have no idea of what’s he talkin’ about. I tried to talk to him, but he never said a word. Well, it’s kinda a long story… and hey, I’m guilt-free here!

First Scene: Show ▼

Jeff and I were laughing and teasing each other while walking along the school campus. Then there Isiah goes sitting with his barkada, which also happens to be my former blockmates. They were staring at us, except for him, so I smiled at them. But his barkada had this “who’s that guy with her” look… and I guess that look also applies to him.

Later that week, he finally had the nerve to confront me. And I can tell by the use of his words that he’s really trying to win me back as his best buddy. So what I did is that, I’d let go off my pride and cleared things out between us.

• Sioco: groupmate

He was absent that day in our laboratory class because he was required to attend a certain seminar. I know, because he told me so… but he also said that he will not be absent and will not finish the seminar  instead. Thus, he told me to wait for him… but he never came.

That afternoon, Jeff and I were cracking some jokes along the Hahn corridor. Then we saw him going down the stairs and Jeff shouted, “Si Sioco oh!” Upon hearing his name, Sioco stopped and looked. When he saw me with Jeff, he eventually ran down the stairs.

The next meeting in our laboratory class, his first question was, “Vina, namiss mo ba ako?” I just smiled at him and then he started to explain the reason behind his absence. “Kasi naman si Reyno! Nakasabay ko siya sa seminar, tapos ‘yun… alam mo na.” It’s kinda funny for him to explain like this, knowing the fact that he doesn’t have to. I mean, who he think he is, my husband? Well, at least he thought so. (Sioco, you’re nuts! )

• Aijo: boyfriend

He’d been a green-eyed monster ever since… but only in his chosen cases that is. Whenever he happens to see me with some guy (be it a friend, classmate, etc.) with good looks, he accuses me of two-timing without knowing that guy. Now let’s say that the guy isn’t that good-looking… well, he will not waste his time arguing with me at all.

It’s our dismissal and Jeff came along with me. Then Aijo and his barkada showed up. His barkada stared at us and he gave me that “who’s that guy?” look again. He then looked at Jeff fiercely like he’s gonna eat him… but thankfully, he didn’t. As for me, I was badly shock of what just happened.

This guy of mine just really doesn’t know how to show some affection – one of his traits which my friends can’t take. But nonetheless, I love him so…

I asked Mama if who’s the greatest jerk of all and she answered… “your boyfriend of course!” (Geez, thanks Ma!) How about you, what do you think?
